By Synedica Labs Research Team · 20 March 2026 · 5 min read

Quick takeaways

Cross-border shipment of research peptides is straightforward when documented correctly, and a complete mess when it isn't. This article covers what to expect when ordering into the UK or EU.

UK shipments (domestic)

Synedica dispatches UK orders Monday and Wednesday via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48. Typical delivery is next business day or 2 business days respectively. No customs paperwork is required as the goods are dispatched from a UK warehouse.

EU shipments

EU orders move via EDP-Chronopost from a continental hub. Expect 3 business days door to door for standard, 2 days for express. The package is declared as "research material — non-clinical" which is the correct legal description.

What to do if your shipment is delayed

  1. Check the tracking link first — most "delays" resolve within 24h.
  2. If held at customs for more than 48h, contact us and we'll issue the supplementary declaration.
  3. If genuinely lost (no scan for 7+ days), we re-ship at no charge.

What we do NOT ship to

Synedica does not currently ship to: Russia, Belarus, mainland China, or any country under active EU/UK trade sanctions. This is non-negotiable and is enforced at the warehouse level.

Shipping problems are almost always documentation problems. Order the right product, declare the right description, and 99% of shipments arrive on time.

FAQ

Common shipping questions

Do UK orders go through customs?
No. UK orders ship from a UK warehouse, so they do not require customs processing like cross-border EU parcels do.
What should a buyer do if customs holds a parcel for more than 48 hours?
Contact support with the tracking number. If the parcel needs supplementary documentation, it can be issued quickly to help the courier complete clearance.
What happens if a shipment is genuinely lost?
If a parcel shows no movement for an extended period and is confirmed lost, Synedica re-ships at no extra charge.
